SK-II : Global
Brand Library Refresh · Storyboarding · Pre-Production Visualisation
SK-II required a refresh of its global brand library to feel more modern, cohesive, and visually consistent across assets.
⸻
The Gap
While the creative direction was defined, the challenge was ensuring clarity before production. The brand needed unified visual direction across shots, angles, and product representation to avoid inconsistency at scale.
⸻
My Role
I worked as a Junior Designer at VaynerMedia, supporting pre-production through storyboarding and visualisation. I translated creative and art direction into hand-drawn storyboards, mapping camera angles, compositions, and product presentation. This involved studying product texture and form, pressure-testing visual ideas, and working closely with Creative Directors and Art Directors to align decisions before production.
⸻
Why This Mattered
Storyboarding functioned as a decision-making tool, reducing ambiguity and ensuring execution aligned with intent.
⸻
What This Demonstrates
This project reflects my ability to work within established brand systems, translate direction into clear visual language, and make thoughtful decisions under constraint — a foundation that continues to inform how I approach creative direction today.
